Summary of Goldilocks And The Three Bears

The Goldilocks and the Three Bears story is about a girl called Goldilocks who comes across a beautiful little house in the forest one day when she is out picking flowers in the forest. Because she is tired and thirsty, she hopes that she will be able to rest and get something to drink at the house. She doesn’t realize that the house belongs to three bears who have gone for a walk in the forest while their porridge cools.

She knocks at the door but no one answers so she eventually goes inside. There she finds three chairs – one big, one medium-sized, and one small. She also sees three bowls of porridge, again, one big, one medium-sized, and one small.

She decides to sit and wait for the owners of the house to come back so she sits in the first chair big chair but finds that the cushion is too soft. She then sits on the medium-sized chair but the chair is too hard. She then sits on the small chair and it is perfect!

After sitting for a while Goldilocks becomes curious about the food. She decides to taste it but the first big bowl is too hot. The medium-sized bowl is too cold but the porridge in the third bowl was just perfect. In fact, it tastes so good that she ends up tasting it and tasting it until it was completely gone!

After eating such a delicious meal goldilocks becomes very tired so she goes upstairs and there she finds three beds. One big one, one medium-sized one, and one small one. Just like the chairs, both the big and the medium-sized beds aren’t comfortable but the little one is just right so she lies down on it and falls asleep.

Just then, the three bears arrive home, and they quickly notice that someone has been sitting in their chairs and eating their porridge! They go upstairs to investigate, and there they find Goldilocks fast asleep in the little bear’s bed!

When Goldilocks hears them talking she wakes up and jumps out the window and quickly runs away vowing never to go into the forest again. The little bear is sad because he had always wanted a little girl to play with.
